than 1,000 Canadian residents who had an appointment with ahealthcare professional in the past 12 months (you will find the fullmethodology at the bottom of this article) . 84% of telemedicine users willcontinue to use it once the pandemic is over Of the 1,031 people surveyed byCapterra, 56% consulted their doctor via telemedicine in the last 12 months.COVID-19 was the primary driver of the increase in telemedicine use, as 89% ofusers surveyed opted for healthcare delivered virtually for the first timeduring the pandemic. However, only 13% of these consultations were aboutCOVID-19 symptoms. The majority of telemedicine users surveyed had a positiveexperience, and 84% of them want to continue using these services once thepandemic is over.
